GenerikB gift, soon to be sent

I know these two don't seem related, but they are!
So there's a guy I regularly watch on Youtube, called GenerikB (channel here: http://www.youtube.com/user/Generikb )  He does video game lets plays, usually Minecraft, but he's been playing other games recently, like Viva Pinata, Don't Starve, and The Cave.  When he was playing the Cave, he talked about how he lost his hamster in college.  Up to this point, he also has a segment where he opens fan mail, and he has quite a bit of crocheting fans (if you did click the link, at the top there's a pic of him wearing a beanie that someone made that comes with a beard!) so I knew I wanted to make him something, but I didn't know what.  Then I hear his Hamster story, and I knew I had to make him one.
and so I did.  Also making my own pattern in the process ^-^

It kinda looks like it has a pig nose.....  Anyways!  This also spawned be to realized I can make cute small things.  And part of GenerikB's thing is his fascination for bees in his games (the buzzlegum in Viva Pinata and the bees from the Feed the Beast mod for Minecraft).  So....

 I made him a bee!!!!
 Iz soooo cutes!!!!
Ahem, sorry, slipped into lolspeak for a second there.  Anyways, this pattern also helped with a project I'm working on currently, and soon shall be uploading on to this blog.
IZ SOO CUTEZ!!! XD

Happy Single's Awareness Da- er.... Valentines Day (ahem... vain day...)

....Yeah, don't much like this holiday, even though I have a boyfriend...  But I love my boyfriend, and I know he's going to get me those super special awesome candy hearts and say stuff on them (the only good thing about V-Day)  But I can't get him nothing, so here's what I made ^-^
This I actually made myself, didn't look for a pattern... well I did, but I didn't like them, so I made my own ^-^
Each flower petal and green leaf is a heart, idividually made and sown together, and glued on the stem.
I couldn't sew the leaves because I wrapped the pipe cleaners (or chenille stems, as I've also heard them called) around the wooded rod tightly.  But my hot glow gun made quick work of them.

See? They're hearts!!!

Here comes the bride, all dressed in white

In October 2012, my aunt got remarried.  Since she didn't have a job, and nor did her fiance, she heavily relied on family and sales for her wedding.  I was to help with the decorations, and her colors were teal blue and white.
I added the red for the... redness that roses have.  These are the same pattern I use for the rose in the head bands (which I am also selling on my etsy here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/106337932/large-headband-with-a-rose? )  and the pattern for the rose can be found here: http://www.freepatternsdonnascrochetdesigns.com/rose-bench-decoration-free-crochet-pattern.html

FOR THE LAND OF THE FFRRREEEEEEE!!!! AND THE HOME OF THEAAAAA *breath* BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVE!!!!

Hey!!! Sorry about the hiatus! I kind of forgot about the blog ^_^;  Any ways, on with the blog!!
These are some Easter peeps I found a pattern for, and changed the coloring so I could sell them for 4th of July.  For those not in the know (I do have quite a bit of foreign people checking out my blog ^-^), July Fourth is the day we Americans celebrate our independence from the UK.  Though now days its a reason to drink beer and shoot fireworks
This was the "first draft" I made, though I didn't like how you couldn't see the red, since the shell was meant to be red, white and blue, but with the bald eagle's head also being white, it was doublely the white, and I didn't think it looked good.
 So I changed it!
 Fuzzy side view!!
Daww!!! its little feeties!!!!

I do have this on sale at my etsy here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/100134506/bald-eagle-chicks?

and the pattern I use can be found here: http://loopsoflavender.blogspot.com/2012/03/hatching-easter-chicks-crochet-pattern.html

Gaming Juggling Balls! (ft Sonic, Mario, and Link)

Christmas time!!! time for me to make presents for everyone, or say I'm going to make presents for too many people and disappoint half the people on my list lol.  First on my list that I finished: My boyfriend ^-^

To explain, my boyfriend knows how to juggle ( I know, isn't that AWESOME!!!) and he's a gamer (I know, isn't that cool!!!).  I knew I wanted to make him a set of juggling balls, but I could decide on the color or how i was going to stuff them.  I was talking to some of my friends at school about what I was planning, and another gamer friend of mine said I should make a Sonic, Mario, and Link.  So here they are!!
The first one I finished was Sonic the Hedgehog.  I I had a pretty good idea about how to make him into a juggling ball.
This is the side.  I like how the eyes turned out ^-^
This is the back, showing the spines.  they were relatively easy to make
 It'sa me, Mario!!
My brother gave me the idea of  having the hat cover the eyes.  I just finished the hat when he walked in, so I showed him him how it fits on the ball.  I like how this one turned out, though I was nervous it wouldn't look right.  Both Mario and Link I didn't know how to do the hair or hats.
Link.  He comes to town.  Comes to save the Princess Zelda.
Yeah, his eyes are kinda buggy, they're based off toon Link's eyes, and his hair looks funny in this picture...
His hat.  I restarted this part so many times because it wasn't making a cone like i wanted it too.  It was either too long by the time it could cover his head, or it didn't cover his head at all.
But here they are, and I think they look great!

Now a proper Pokeball!!

Awhile ago, I posted a ink and purple pokeball, that i made, with those colors because I didnt' have any white, and barely any red or black.  I did some stock of my yarn recently, and noticed I have more than enough red, black, and white, so I thought id give my pokeball and second chance, see if the pattern I made needed any changing, minor adjustments

This is kind of a size gauge type picture.

Again, sorry about the serious lack of posting lately, I'm a full time Biology student and am currently taking Biology, Organic Chemistry, Physics, and Critical Thinking.  I'm enjoying all these classes, but I'm constantly doing homework. I'm happy I got enough free time to make this, lol ^-^
