This is a beanie I made, a basic single crochet stitch, with a simple design sewn on.
It's supposed to be holly, if I remember correctly ( I made it last December), and I remember worrying about the red flowers looking too much like berries, but I was going for a Christmas theme, something warm my step-mom could wear in the Christmas season (not that she didn't already have a warm beanie and scarf, but now she has more choices!).
I was my own fashion model in the beginning
Here's the matching scarf. I believe it was a normal shell stitch.
